So I finally got off my butt and begged my mom to take me to get some art supplies. This summer I want to learn how to draw horses better than I have in the past, paying more attention to details in the musculature instead of just the shape. I got myself a sketch book and some graphite pencils (I think I've found my true love) and went to work.
This is the first result of the pencils ^^. The shading in the neck and body was a bit awkward because I was dealing with more space than all the small details in the face. That, and I'm just getting used to these graphites XD. Needless to say, I like this picture  reference picture: [link] |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
